Inviting the community to join them at their location, 4340 Tamarack Blvd, the Franklin County Dog Shelter Open House gives the families of Franklin County and central Ohio the opportunity to learn about, become acquainted, and get involved with all the shelter is, does, and has to offer.
Franklin County Dog Shelter & Adoption Center is the largest county shelter in Ohio, working with volunteers throughout the community to tend to almost 10,000 dogs per year.
Everyday enrichment, exercise, and emotional well-being of the canines come with their stated mission "to balance the welfare and safety needs of the citizens and dogs in Franklin County."
